ideas to help prevent global warming.

This article has some pretty cool ideas on how to prevent or at least slow down global warming. the UN for the past few years has run programs to insist on lowering gas emissions of global warming gases. The basic idea on how this is done is by letting the less fortunate countries cell credits to the richer countries. The money that less fortunate countries receives can go towards the building of specialized systems built byAgCert. The system collects methane gas from rotting pig manure farms in Mexico, Chile, and Brazil. Then burns it off or uses it to generate electricity. that will produce carbon dioxide which is a global warming gas, but it is far less harmful then methane gas. There are also other projects that are being tested to help slow down global warming. For example, there is a project that will try to generate electricity from rice husks in Cambodia. Also in Nepal scientists are trying to transform waste into cooking fuel.

My Thoughts

I think that it is great what they are trying to do with slowing down global warming. Although limiting the project regarding the methane into carbon dioxide should try to bemore broad and try to change other gases as well as methane. I also think that the waste idea into cooking fuel should be experimented with not only in terms of cooking fuel but other types of fuel. Maybe for cars or lighting, but it should not be limited to cooking.

Questions???

- How much might the machine cost for the countries to use on the pig farms.
- What other gases are harmful to the environment
- What will be effected by global warming
