African glaciers melting.(AFRICA)(Brief article)." Earth Island Journal 21.4 (Wntr 2007): 5(1). Student Resource Center - Gold. Thomson Gale. This is proof that global warming is effecting us now. Not in the next few years, but it has been for a while. According to this article global warming has been going on for at least ten years. The article is talking about Glaciers in Rwenzori Mountains in Congo-Uganda border. Scientists have been recording the glaciers size for the past ten years and have noticed that the glaciers have been shrinking at an average rate of 32 feet per year. If this information is true then the glaciers will disappear within the next 20 years. Scientists believe that the melting is do to the temperature increase over the last 40 years.
Here is what I think is odd about these facts. Global warming is supposedly do to the green house gas emissions from our daily lives, Africa of all places will be most effected by global warming. Africa in my opinion is the country that would create and produce the least amount of gases that would cause global warming.

Good MLA, but when you start off your notes with "This is proof" I wonder what you mean by this. Start with a summary ... like your third sentence. Yeah, there it is. And give yourself some questions at the end to direct your research. What do you want to know right now?
